Staffing for events at Protective Stadium

Protective Stadium opened in October 2021 just east of the main BJCC complex in downtown Birmingham, seating 47,100 fans. Home of the UAB Blazers football team, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 World Games and major concerts, including Garth Brooks' first-ever show at the venue.

Meridian Talent House staffs events in 29 states, including Alabama, so one partner can cover your full event calendar.

Meridian Talent House is an independent staffing agency. We staff events held at Protective Stadium, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the venue.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of staff can you provide for a game day or concert at the Protective Stadium?
Guest services and entry teams, ticket scanning and gate support, brand ambassadors for tailgate and fan-zone activations, sponsor experiences, VIP and suite hospitality, and halftime engagement crews.
How much does stadium event staffing cost?
Pricing is custom-quoted based on the market, the role, event length, and staffing level, with a 4-hour minimum per staffer. A 50% deposit secures your booking. Cancellation terms follow our 7-day tiers, and full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
How far in advance should we book stadium event staff?
Four to six weeks of lead time is ideal for stadium events, so we can recruit, brief, and confirm large teams. Rush staffing is often available on shorter timelines.
Can you staff large teams of 50 or more?
Yes. We regularly build large teams for stadium events, with on-site leads and structured check-in for every shift.
Do you staff events outside the stadium as well?
Yes. We staff street teams, pop-ups, and off-site activations around Birmingham, which pairs well with game days.
