1. Scope and operator

American Luxury LLC operates the Meridian Talent House brand (“Meridian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy and Notice at Collection explain how we handle personal information through our websites, applications, portals, staffing requests, opportunity pages, interviews, matching, bookings, payments, and communications.

This policy does not replace a client’s or third party’s privacy policy when that organization separately controls information. Additional notices may apply to background checks, employment records, or specific state-law rights.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Meridian, we may collect:

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, email, telephone number, account identifier, mailing or billing address, IP address, and login information.
  • Talent application and professional information: city and state, social handles, height, work history, experience level, languages, markets, availability, travel and transportation information, references, interests, past credits, skills, comfort levels, resume information, and application status.
  • Photos and media: headshots, full-body photographs, optional portfolio images, videos, captions, and associated file information.
  • Client and event information: company, contact details, services requested, budget, event location and dates, staffing count, job responsibilities, language needs, lawful role requirements, wardrobe, accessibility or safety needs, and booking notes.
  • Commercial and payment information: quotes, agreements, invoices, payment status, refunds, expenses, transaction references, and limited payment metadata. Full card information is generally processed by our payment provider rather than stored by Meridian.
  • Communications: messages, emails, text-message preferences and consent records, interview scheduling, customer support, and booking communications.
  • Technical activity: device and browser information, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, cookie identifiers, logs, and security events.
  • Verification and legal information: age confirmation, policy acceptance, media authorization, safety or incident reports, and information required by law. If a background check is ever requested, it will use a separate disclosure and authorization.

We collect information directly from you, from an authorized company representative, from references you authorize us to contact, through platform activity, from service providers, and from publicly available professional sources where lawful.

3. How we use information

  • Review talent applications, verify information, create profiles, and determine readiness for matching.
  • Respond to client requests, prepare quotes, match talent, coordinate interviews, schedule bookings, and administer events.
  • Operate accounts, authentication, dashboards, messages, calendars, opportunity posts, payments, and customer support.
  • Communicate about applications, opportunities, interviews, assignments, staffing requests, safety, payments, service changes, and—with separate consent where required—marketing.
  • Display talent media publicly when the individual has provided a separate public-media authorization.
  • Protect users and the platform, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain business records.
  • Measure and improve website performance, accessibility, services, and user experience.

We do not use submitted talent photos or application information to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to:

  • Clients and prospective clients: relevant talent profiles, availability, qualifications, photos, and booking information for legitimate staffing and matching purposes.
  • Talent: relevant opportunity, client-site, schedule, contact, safety, and assignment information needed for an engagement.
  • Service providers: hosting, database, authentication, file storage, email, SMS, analytics, payment processing, translation (see Section 6), security, and professional advisers that support our operations.
  • Legal and safety recipients: government agencies, courts, insurers, advisers, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
  • Business transactions: an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising technologies may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain state laws. Where applicable, you may request to opt out using the contact information below or supported browser privacy controls.

5. Photos, profiles, and public media

Application photos are used privately to review applications and match talent with clients. Public display on our talent network, website, social media, advertising, presentations, or promotional materials requires the separate Talent Media Release or another written authorization.

A talent member may request that Meridian stop future public digital use. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to remove controlled online uses within approximately 30 days after verifying the request. Removal may not affect materials already printed, distributed, incorporated into completed campaigns, retained for legal reasons, or controlled by an unaffiliated recipient.

6. Cookies, analytics, payments, and communications

We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar tools for authentication, preferences, fraud prevention, security, performance, and analytics. You can manage cookies through browser settings, although disabling essential storage may prevent account features from working.

Automatic translation. Our website and emails are available in English, Spanish and Chinese. Fixed wording on our site and in our emails is translated in advance. When you submit free text to us, such as a staffing request, contact message, chat message, or talent application (which may be written in another language), we may send that text to a third-party artificial-intelligence service provider solely to translate it, so that you and our team can each read it in English or in your language. We send only the text needed for translation. We do not permit the provider to use it to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models, and we do not use submitted messages for that purpose. Translations are automated and may contain errors. The talent application and talent portal are provided in English only.

Payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy policies. Email and SMS providers process contact and delivery information on our behalf. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw SMS consent through any reasonable method, including replying STOP or contacting us.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, subject to legal, tax, payment, insurance, safety, fraud, dispute, and litigation requirements. Our current operational targets are:

We may retain limited records longer when required by law or reasonably necessary for tax, contracts, payment disputes, insurance, safety, fraud prevention, legal claims, or enforcement.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, an appeal, or information about categories collected and disclosed; to withdraw consent; or to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To submit a request, email us with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may verify your identity and authority before completing the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. You may appeal a denied request by replying with “Privacy Appeal.”

California notice at collection: the categories collected are described in Section 2, the purposes in Section 3, the disclosures in Section 4, and retention in Section 7. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money.

9. Security, nationwide operations, and minors

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use unique passwords and promptly report suspected account misuse.

Meridian operates across the United States. Information may be processed in states other than where you live, subject to applicable law. Our talent application and account services are intended for adults age 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect application information from children under 18.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy prospectively as our services or legal obligations change. The updated version will show a new effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law or when a material change affects previously collected information.
